Tickets split per station, set on the menu item (kitchen / bar / front). The KDS tablet only sees tickets relevant to its station — and per tablet you can narrow further to specific categories (e.g. "Pizza" only) via station_filter in Dashboard → /devices. Expo mode shows the cross-station ready queue. Auto-fire kitchen tickets on add or on Send (configurable). Auto-bump tickets after N minutes if staff forget to tap Ready.

Tickets change color by age: green under 3 min, yellow 3-5, orange 5-7, red above 7. Defaults that can be tuned per outlet. Fast visual cue for which tickets have been waiting longest.

Bumped the wrong one? The recall sheet returns the ticket to the queue. Items tagged with allergens (peanut, dairy, gluten) show a red banner over the ticket — kitchen staff can't miss a dietary request.

Marking a ticket "Ready" triggers a WhatsApp notification to the guest if a number's on file. For table service: "server is bringing it"; for counter: "ready at the cashier". Includes the item name + table label so the guest has context.
