Reservations & host waitlist

Steps

1. 01 Dashboard → Reservations. The date picker defaults to today; change the date if your host takes advance bookings.
2. 02 Add a reservation: 'Add reservation' → enter name, phone, party size, booking time, optional note. Save — it appears in the left column list.
3. 03 Walk-ins: guest arrives without a booking → 'Walk-in' → enter name + pax + pick an empty table from the grid. The order auto-creates and the table flips to 'occupied'.
4. 04 Waitlist (peak hours, all tables occupied): 'Add to waitlist' → enter name + pax + estimated wait. When a table opens, a 'Seat' button appears on the waitlist row.
5. 05 Seating a reserved guest: click 'Seat' → pick the table. An order auto-creates on that table; the reservation status goes 'seated'. Server can take the order immediately.

Notes

• No-show / cancel: click the reservation row → No-show or Cancel. If an order's already open but unpaid, it's auto-voided and the table frees up.
